Holidays and Birthdays

Hello everyone,
Sorry for not being in touch recently but I seem to be always busy at the moment, what with the school holidays and the children at home...
Don't really get much time to do any stamping and now we are going off to Norfolk camping tomorrow and after that I am going straight to Germany for a couple of weeks to see my family. Very excited about it and can't wait.
I've been invited to a birthday party of a friend of mine who lives in Austria whilst I am over there, so I did manage to do a quick card for her.

Here is what I used:
Cardstock: summer sun, rose red, taken with teal, old olive and whisper white
Ink: Pumpkin pie, basic gray and versamark
Stampset: All wrapped up
I even managed to do some stitching (I normally loathe it, but it just shows what you do if you have a hobby you love...!)
Hodgepodge hardware

Have a good time.
Speak soon.
Love as always,
Vanessa

Get well card

Hi,

I thought I share a card with you tonight I made for my sister in law who caught a nasty virus and isn't feeling very well at the moment. So I made her a card to cheer her up a bit. Hope you will like it. Let me know what you think....

Things I used:
Cardstock: rose red, pumpkin pie, olive green, whisper white and summer sun
Ink pads: bravo burgundy, always artichoke, pumpkin pie and rose red
Stamps: polka dot, all wrapped up, fun and fast notes
Ribbon in pumpkin pie, button in pale plum and vintage brads

Have a good night.
Love as always,
Vanessa xx

Wedding Anniversary Card

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't blogged for a long time but we've been on holiday in Cornwall for two weeks and then my sister was here to stay with us for a week. Had a lovely holiday though, Cornwall is just soo beautiful...

Anyway, was busy last night doing a card as it is my husbands and my 5th Wedding Anniversary coming up on Friday so I thought I better make a card for my lovely Johnny!

I used rose red, whisper white and basic gray cardstock and printed Happy Anniversary on the sides, using grey ink and my trusted Stamp-a-ma-jig! (words are from the Cheer and Wishes stamp set)
The hearts are from the Polka Dot Punches stampset and I used the following ink pads: rose red, barely banana, pumpkin pie, taken with teal, pixie pink and green galore on whisper white card stock. I embossed the first three, but you can't really see it, so I gave up in the end.

Hope John will like the card.

Will post again soon, I promise.
